Washtenaw TOPP Farm Tours

The Washtenaw TOPP (Transition to Organic Partnership Program) Farm Tours are a free, public event giving anyone the opportunity to visit three working sustainable farms in Washtenaw County and learn directly from the farmers who run them.
Registration is required and closes July 17, 2026. Register at the MSU Extension event page or contact Katie Brandt at brandtk7@msu.edu or Mariel Borgman at mborgm@msu.edu. Addresses for the second and third farm stops will be sent upon registration.
Tour Itinerary
9:00 – 11:00 AM — Raindance Farm (2015 E North Territorial Rd, Whitmore Lake) Farmer Kristen Meuhlhauser leads a tour of their cut flower operation, covering ecological management practices and on-farm education. Rain Dance Organics is one of the standout flower farms in the Washtenaw County area.
11:30 AM – 2:15 PM — Nature & Nurture Seeds Seedsman Mike Levine hosts a tour and lunch focused on organic seed production and heirloom seed preservation.
3:00 – 5:00 PM — Pott Farms Farmer Robbin Pott demonstrates regenerative organic farming practices.
