First Time at a Farmers Market?
- Arrive early. The best produce goes to early shoppers — aim for opening time.
- Bring cash. Most vendors accept cards but cash is faster and always works.
- Bring your own bags. You'll buy more than you expect.
- Talk to the farmers. Ask what's freshest, how to cook something unfamiliar, or when they expect a crop to come in.
- SNAP/EBT accepted. All four Washtenaw County markets accept SNAP/Bridge cards. Ann Arbor and Saline also participate in Double Up Food Bucks — spend $10 in SNAP and get $10 more free for fresh produce.

A year-round farm store and cafe in downtown Chelsea carrying products from over 50 local farms. Find fresh local produce, pasture-raised meats, artisan cheese, eggs, baked goods, prepared foods, coffee, and specialty grocery items. A one-stop shop for Michigan-grown food.

Ann Arbor Farmers Market
Ann Arbor
The region's largest and longest-running farmers market, in the historic Kerrytown district, with over 150 vendors selling produce, plants, baked goods, meats, eggs, flowers, cheeses, honey, and crafts.

Dexter Winter Farmers Market
Dexter
Washtenaw County's only dedicated winter farmers market, held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays from November through April at the Dexter Wellness Center. Find local meats, eggs, cheese, preserved foods, root vegetables, honey, and handmade goods all winter long.

Trinity Health Farm Stand
Ypsilanti
A mobile farm stand run by Trinity Health on the Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital campus in Ypsilanti. Operates at two campus locations on Wednesdays: 5301 McAuley Dr from 11am–1pm, then 5557 McAuley Dr from 2pm–6pm. Runs April through November and accepts SNAP/EBT and Prescription for Health vouchers.

Washtenaw Food Hub — Sunflower Farm Market

A nonprofit community food hub and year-round public market at 4175 Whitmore Lake Rd in Ann Arbor. The Sunflower Farm Market sells fresh seasonal produce from local farms, in-house prepared foods, artisan breads, cheese, locally roasted coffee, and handcrafted goods. Open four days a week year-round.
