96th Annual Ypsilanti 4th of July Parade

One of Michigan’s longest-running Independence Day parades, the Ypsilanti 4th of July Parade has been a community tradition for 96 years. It’s a great family event with a fantastic route through some of Ypsilanti’s most iconic landmarks.

Parade Details

• Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
• Time: 11am – 12:30pm
• Start: Ypsilanti Water Tower, Cross St, Ypsilanti
• Route: Along Cross St to Historic Depot Town
• End: Rice Street, Historic Depot Town
• Admission: Free — watch from anywhere along the route

Tips

• The Ypsilanti Water Tower area and Depot Town both offer great viewing spots
• Depot Town has restaurants and shops open before and after the parade — make a morning of it
• No registration needed, just show up
